I Made a New Discord Server for Consulting/ Career Prep If Anyone is Interested
I just went through recruiting process of MMBs last year and got into one. I didn’t find a great server to get advice from people or find others to practice with, so I made this discord server Ambitious Career Prep to help anyone that is going through a similar process, if you are interested.
I mainly made it for consulting, but finance or big tech careers are welcome as well as I know some people are pursuing multiple. I hope everyone can find something helpful here from resume creation all the way to doing well on all parts of any job interviews with live practice.
I have confidence this will help someone. There aren’t many members yet, but I will be available to help anyone answer questions about applications, interviews, networking, or what it is like working at an MBB firm (what a real case interview is like, what it is like working on a real case, etc.) I can also speak a bit about the process at large companies as I have some experience there as well. Lol bringing me back to when I joined “college application help” discord servers. I ended up helping someone with their “Why school” essay on one of them and he helped me with mine, and then we both ended up getting into the school and living in the same dorm building.
