"Internal" Management Consultant role?
I am looking at a semi-large financial/insurance company that is looking at hiring a Internal Management Consultant. This role is focused on all of the different holding companies and line of businesses and supports them from a MC standpoint. I am finding very little information online for consultant roles that operating internally within an organization for all of its subsidiaries.
I currently work in an operations/strategy role for a very large financial institution as a VP. This role would be a very big change from where I currently am at.
Looking to find any insight on what a role like this could be like vs consulting with outside companies.
