Was browsing LinkedIn and saw job postings for Alvarez & Marsal - CFO Services, PEPI (private equity performance improvement). Glassdoor has range for senior associate around $170k which seems reasonable.
Can anyone shed light on the position / vertical? I'm assuming this position would involve travel. My understanding is Alvarez & Marsal is a solid firm, so interested to learning more.

I'm not in this BU specifically but I didn't realize CFO Services was a part of PEPI and not just CPI. Either way PEPI is going to be PortCo Ops, Tx DD and Exit consulting. So in your case, consulting the CFO/FP&A unit for PortCo's. Pretty neat work especially if you wanna be a PortCo CFO yourself.
