Low GPA, semi-target, need some help here
Hey guys,
I am currently a junior in a semi-target for MBB (Bain for sure but not quite for BCG). After my sophomore, I ended up with a 2.8 GPA (3.3 for major) in civil engineering. At that time I have taken two intro econ and two advanced stat classes (with 1A+,1A, 1 B+, 1B) and it turned out that I love them more than my engineering classes. So I decided to change my major. Well, I just started my junior year full of econ and stat classes, but I could not change my major until the semester ends. On Friday I will be going to a consulting forum (networking event, not recruiting) in my school and Bain & McKinsey are scheduled to appear. I will be bringing resumes, so should I list my GPA on there?
And in the long run, if my major change for the last two years, would that matter to not put my first two years GPA on my resume?
I am not trying to secure an internship or anything but I must fight for a FT. I was told Bain hired only 1/4 of AC Interns as compared with FT ACs.
Sorry for all those questions but I couldn't get answers from my advisor.
Thanks guys!
