Management Consultants vs Software Engineers

Is it true that a Software Engineer graduating from any university would make more or comparable to a management consulting associate from a top tier b-school? Let's compare Software Engineer from Drexel and a MBA grad from Michigan Ross. Thoughts???

How is this a fair comparison? I’d hope the MBA grad from Ross makes more than the undergrad from Drexel. TBH they probably will too, I don’t think new grad SWE pay would be more than 100k or so average from a school like that

Asking since tuition for both differs by about $50k. Want to know what would be a better Roi? Both in the short and long run. Bank account matters more to me than my interest at the moment. Both equally interest me.
