Hey everybody, is MBB post-MBA level compensation adjusted based on living cost / location in the US? I am currently negotiating a salary and would like to know what I could reasonably expect if I choose NYC vs other lower living cost location in the US, for example, Dallas, Houston, Philly, Chicago or Minneapolis. Baed on Glassdoor data, the differences are very small, and probably due to the fact that smaller locations do not have enough data. Any help would be really appreciated!

There is no difference in base. You could maybe try to negotiate a relocation bonus up.
Yes - back in my day at McKinsey also no differences across office. Live like a king in Cleveland or a pauper in New York.
As others have already side, compensation is uniform across the US. Some people prefer bigger cities and are willing to pay the COL premium, others aren't.
