MBB Data Science
Does anyone know if MBB recruits for data science roles out of undergrad? My ideal role would be a data science business analyst/associate consultant/associate position. I know McK has a data science intern position for undergrad juniors, but I don't see anything for FT fresh out of undergrad. If anyone has any information, links, or is working in these roles right now, I would appreciate it! Also wanted to know if doing these more tech-focused roles compared to the traditional BA/AC/A roles limit your exit opportunities into PE/VC, etc.
very bad idea. If you have technical skills you should be working in tech, quant finance or quant. Run away from the bs artists at mbb.
McKinsey - Digital BA
That's not what the Digital BA does. In general, McKinsey Digital is focused on tech strategy and digital transformation. Your role is largely similar to a regular consultant, except you just specialize in these types of projects.
McKinsey QuantumBlack is what you're looking for, or something like an analytics consultant within Digital. Not the standard Digital BA.
