BCG moved first, McKinsey and Bain soon followed. They haven't made a final decision on what the summer will look like, but it sounds like a hybrid model is most likely. It doesn't sound like the duration of the internship will be shortened, or alternative options to the internship will be available (non-profit, entrepreneurial venture, etc.).
