I am an experienced hire (3y of a startup, 3y of M&A (Corpo dev - M&A team then TS/M&A advisory).) I recently got an offer from one of MBB + tiers 1/2 investment banking offer. I would like what is the best path to go to PE/VC?

IB is a direct path to PE for many. MBB can get you there as well, but it isn't as common or as structured.
