Mckinsey Private Equity Analyst Europe

Hi all,

I have been invited to the pst and was wondering if anyone could provide some more information on what to expect from the role.

The job posting states:

We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our team. The PE Analyst role is a unique opportunity for an early-career professional to gain significant exposure to the private equity industry (and to other types of investors more broadly) and to build a broad, deep skill set in financial and business analysis.

This role differs from McKinsey’s generalist Business Analyst role in its focus: this role focuses entirely on serving investor clients (though because our clients invest across sectors and types of companies, the role still offers exposure to a wide variety of sectors and functional levers). PE Analysts will be staffed full time to client engagements, with the majority of work in private equity due diligence. Responsibilities:

You will have the opportunity to work individually and in teams to support our clients’ investment decisions in the due diligence process and other private equity/investor work:

Has anyone had any experience in this area? all feedback welcome!
