McKinsey Real Estate Research

Hello All,

Posted in the RE forum, but was told I would have better luck here.

I am looking for information on McKinsey's Capabilities & Insights Analyst - Real Estate Insights role.

How would this role differ from a straightforward consulting role? I am looking for information on what projects I might work on, what the career path for a role like this would be, and insight into culture of the team if people have firsthand experience.

I am coming from a transactional background underwriting multi value add. I enjoy the role a lot, however am not sure what I really want to do long term and this role seemed to align with my interests (more macro focused thinking). Any insight would be helpful.
