Need advice on undergraduate degree

I’m currently in my undergraduate career at UCSB- which is a non target. We have recently started having recruiters from Bain and BCG, however only around 2-3 people have been recruited. I’m a communications major and plan to double major with political science. I am taking introductory political science courses right now and it’s hard for me to grasp the material, I don’t really like the subject. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m new to the major but I don’t know if switching to a dual degree in communications and philosophy would be better for me? I want to break into management consulting or tech and am looking for advice on how I should approach my degree.
