New Grad Positions still a Thing?

Profile: Semi-Target; Fresh Grad from Finance; Decent GPA; 4 Internships (corp fin/management consulting)

Context: I've been applying to jobs on repeat since July/August but with the pandemic and second lockdown, my already slim chances were shot again. Some firms just cancelled their interviews, others "reassessed hiring needs" and had even higher standards than they already had and some just took down positions days into them going live.

This year has had fewer opportunities than the years before it with higher competition than ever and I'm about 70-80 cold applications in and about 20-30 warm applications in (I have connections/alumni at the firm).

Question: I'm officially out of ideas. Aside from mindlessly applying to anything I remotely qualify for and hoping I hit the numbers jackpot for having the opportunity to begin a 2-3 month process of 3-5 interviews against every other candidate about my age just as desperate, is there anything I can do?

Tl;dr: pandemic sucks, out of ideas for apps; what can I do?
