I saw this salary guide from managementconsulted, but wasn't sure if it applies to the profile above.
Can anyone give the ballpark offer for the case above? Really need some estimates before negotiating with them.
Managementconsulted guide doesn't really apply unless you are an OCR MBA hire. I would reach out to your career center and see if they have some historical data for people from your program in particular.

I'm still waiting for the formal offer from them. I received a verbal offer and a congratulations email almost 2 weeks ago, 1 business day after my final round interviews.
The recruiter says that the salary package approval takes time. Based on your experiences, how long does PwC typically take to process the formal offer package?

Help evaluate a PwC associate tech consulting offer (Originally Posted: 10/21/2014)
I'm a masters student in computer science. Recently, I've received an offer from the tech consulting arm of PwC in the upper 60k's (plus, what I assume are, standard benefits). Having come from the tech field, I've never evaluated a consulting offer before, and I don't know if it's any good.
My 2 main concerns are: 1. It seems like it's a standard offer that's also sent out to undergrads. I realize that we'll probably start with the same title, however, I do think that my advanced degree and previous tech experience should count for something. Am I wrong? Do firms like that negotiate at all with 1st year associates? 2. I'm interested in consulting, however, I'm still not 100% set on a career path. I'm also interested in product management and software development (I'm actively interviewing for both of those at the moment as well). However, like the responsible child that my parents raised me to be, I don't want to give up this bird of a solid offer for some hypothetical others in the bush (I apologize for the strained metaphor). So I guess my question is, what are my exit ops? Does tech consulting count for anything when applying for a product manager job 2 years down the line? How is tech consulting perceived within the consulting world and outside of it?
I'd appreciate any input you guys might have. I'm very new to this consulting game.
From what i know many of the firms view master (not MBA), on a similar level as undergrad. That being said, you usually get a small bump in pay and also "faster progression"
