I am currently a junior at Columbia (GPA 3.7), majoring in Political Science-Statistics and minoring in History. In the past, I have done legislative internships with a US Congresswoman and a New York Assemblymember. Also, I have completed a data science internship this summer with the US Department of Defense. Additionally, I have had numerous research assistantships at both Columbia's Department of Political Science and Data Science Institute. As you can see, I have not done any business/finance/consulting internships. However, I was thinking of applying to MBB's business analyst internship programs. Do you guys think I should still apply? Although I do not have any experience in the field, I feel like I do possess the necessary qualitative and quantitative skills.
