Starter info for a newbie

First post, I'm a rising sophomore undergraduate at a target school. Looking into a career of management consulting. Have a 3.7-3.8 GPA and am aiming for MBB. I have a vague sense of details of the consulting life (travel and such), what kind of credentials I need, and etc. accumulated just from heresay and articles here and there, but I wish to be a bit more informed.

Instead of bombarding this forum with some of the most basic questions, are there any conveniently accessible reservoirs of information on this site (or elsewhere) to give me a strong introduction to things important to mgmt consulting? Like a bundle of articles, or great posts made in the past by users. Surely people have been in my position before. Yeah thanks!

Jesus, what's with the being a dick to the guy who's actually trying NOT to waste others' time.

I think I remember the site managementconsulted.com being useful. Past that, the search bar is useful (as mentioned)
