Offered an A3 position with an October start dateand was told by the recruiter that I would be eligible for promotion (to SA) the following July...is this to good to be true and how would I go about validating this statement prior to my start date?!
I would likely stay in my current role if I have no way of moving up until July 2023 unless mid year reviews/promotions exist at the firm?
I don't know any A3s that joined so I don't have an informed view of how likely promo is. One thing I'd consider though is that the performance reviews for July promo would be in May, so you'd have to do a great job right off the bat

While mid year promotion certainly exists and in certain offices like London promotion is very rapid, you have to be beyond stellar to make a case in less than 6 months at a new firm
