They're part of the group called "WITCH" companies - Wipro Infosys TCS Cognizant HCL. They're known for doing low cost tech staff aug type work

My thoughts - if you're interested in consulting because you're interested in (a) working on strategy problems like you might be in business classes, (b) access to diverse and high impact exit ops, (c) earning a lot of money, or (d) prestige -- would not recommend

My neighbor works at Infosys Consulting at their London offices (Canary Wharf), they are on a huge hiring spree currently.

The colleagues he works with are smart, and they have the correct processes, training, and procedures in place.
He likes the client projects he is staffed on and his colleagues are from all over the world (many US Americans also).

This group is part of the large Infosys group, meaning you will have lots of backend functions outsourced to India. Even some project related work is done in India.

It is great for entry level jobs or if you can't get into MBB type or even accenture/deloitte level teams. An MBA ie was not expected to join Infosys.
