As someone in the industry, the best healthcare consultancies are ClearView and Putnam Associates. They are pure strategy houses at the very top of their field. Large firms like LEK have both healthcare and general T2 prestige. Then you have the much larger healthcare focused firms such as IQVIA, ZS Associates and CRA. There are dozens below this but often specialized so you need to understand what you like and want to do.
How does the new OW/Huron acquisition fit into this?
OW is clearly trying to grow their LS offering. I'm not sure if they will start to hire directly into that team from entry-level, but certainly another option to consider. I believe they are aiming to reach LEK level.
What are the exits for like for someone at Putnam / Clearview after a year or 2 stint?
