Weighing 2 offers - FDD/TS

Hey Guys,

Just curious how everyone would think about these 2 offers.

Big4 FDD Senior Manager - Contract position - 100/hr = approx. 200k/year

Boutique consultancy (A&M/FTI) - Senior Manager - Full time position - 160k/year + 15k SO

I am married and don't necessarily need to be enrolled in an insurance plan through my work however, 401k would be a factor. And as an FTE less worried about contract ending. On the other hand, I can easily crush it for a year and see 2500 billable in big4.

thoughts?

I know I'm just an intern, but here is a little of what I've heard and read.

For brand recognition: Big4>A&M>FTI

If you are interested in distressed transactions/restructuring, then definitely go with A&M/FTI.

If money is the biggest factor, then A&M/FTI (A&M seems to offer more than FTI, but unsure). The bonuses at these places will exceed Big4. (Utilization bonuses at both)

WLB is probably worse at the boutiques.
