What the?
I'm at a university in the UK. Recruiting for all the firms has been in full swing since October 1, but application deadlines are somewhere around Oct. 31 at the earliest - November 7 or so. First rounds don't even start till around then, and final rounds are in late November/December.
I bring this up because all of the firms are saying that if you don't want to work in London, it's no big deal; you can just specify an office preference on your application.
But, reading a lot of posts on this board, it looks like classes are already filling up for all of the American offices because of their earlier timetable.
What gives? Despite what the recruiters say, is it not really possible to recruit for a different office from abroad?
Yes it is...it's called Accelerated Interview which occurs before regular interview sessions if you are studying abroad for the semester.
Unless you are talking about SA, which hasn't even begun.
this has nothing to do with study abroad, he is actually from abroad.
