Apollo Global Management Internship

I applied for a Private Equity Summer Analyst role at Apollo and today I was offered an interview with Apollo's Corporate Finance BP&A team. Is the BP&A team within the Private Equity wing of the company? What could I expect to do in the BP&A role? Would I be working with portfolio companies? Any help is appreciated, thanks!
