Commercial Banking - Structuring a Credit Department
Hi everyone-
I am looking for some advice on how best to structure a credit department. I work for a $1B bank and we have experienced a good amount of growth in the past 3-5 years. Does anyone have advice or examples of how many analysts they have per senior analyst, how many senior analysts per AVP etc..
Or any examples of how your bank handles new requests? i.e. do you have analysts in certain markets that only work deals in those markets? Or do you have a centralized underwriting center that works deals for the whole company? Any other information would be great appreciated.
