I need some Literature on how to perform as a CFO
Hello all I have recently been offered a job and I am not sure how to go about doing it. I have just been offered a CFO position at an early stage start up offering equity. I am very interested, but I know I am under qualified.
If you have any books that you would recommended I would be more than happy to buy them. Or informational videos. Online Lectures etc...
Currently reading Principles of Managerial Finance -Guttman, Zutter Business Law Text and Cases-Clarkson Managerial Accounting-Datar, Rajan The Goal.
Maybe it's just me here but if a startup offered me a "CFO" position (startup already has an executive committee? Lol) and I myself knew I knew fuck all about how to manage the finances of a company, that would tell me all I had to know about the startup.
