Anyone know how common Business Controller job titles are? I just recently landed an opportunity as a business controller for European company. Not sure if this is region specific title. Basically I'm FP&A working on board pack, budget, forecasting, variance analysis, ad-hoc, acting as an adviser to CEO and CFO. What are the exit opportunities for this position? Will US companies mistaken my title as standard finance controller (accounting)?
