Post-MBA Corp Dev Compensation

Currently part of a 2-year rotation program at a F100 company in NYC area. Will be joining the Corporate Development group with the M&A Deal team for FT.

What are the Comp (Salary+Bonus) range for Corp Dev positions post-MBA (top-10). I will be joining as an Associate Director.

Thnx

It varies wildly by company. I assume that most F100 companies have a certain pay band that HR must adhere to, and it might be possible that you will keep the same pay even if you rotate out into another group. Do you know whether you have negotiating leverage to up your pay?

If I were two years out of MBA and looking at corp dev, I would aim for at least $130-140 base (manager level). At a director level, I would assume at least $160 base. Bonus can vary wildly. I know at my last firm, bonus for corp dev managers was around 10-12%, and for directors 15-20%, but have heard from friends that they can get 30-50% as manager. Really depends on the company.
