Promotion - Internal transfer or stick with current org/team?

Been working at a BB bank. Applied internally to a different dept for a promotion and just got a verbal offer. At the same time my current team offered me a promotion recently when I had already applied to the other department.

I'd be dealing more with revenue in the other dept, but I've been with my current team for a while. The MD and another director (previous boss) in my current org look out for me.

Is it better to stick with current org with folks who trust in you and promote your growth or go to a diff org that deals more with front office revenue stuff, is a brand new team, and will deal with some python/SQL to build out the organization?

What is everyone's thoughts? New org might have more impact but always helps to have higher up folks advocate for you when the time comes to move up the ladder.

Both roles will pay the same comp since my current org will match, but bonus potential in other org is slightly higher (maybe 10 - 15% higher) though I expect hours to be longer as well since it's a new team and nothing is built out...

Location: NYC

Role: Corporate finance....rip

Current Base: ~125k

Current Bonus: 5k

Expected new base: Probs around 140 - 150k I'd assume

Hours: Avg 50 - 55 goes up to like 80ish during busy weeks/months

Overall happiness: Pretty upset since I was underpaid and overworked for quite a while in the bank at current org. Still below market rate if I were to go external
