Credit Career Advice

Looking for some mid-to-long term career advice in terms of what realistic opportunities are available to be in the $250K to $300K total compensation range over the next ~10 years.
My background:
Graduated from a state uni at the height of the pandemic with an average GPA. Since then, my credit career progression over the last 3.5 years in a T2 city has been:
Regional Bank Analyst ($65K, hybrid) > Big Tech Senior Analyst ($88K, remote) > Startup Lead ($120K, remote). All of these roles have been primarily working with FO/Sales on the originations side with some work on portfolio monitoring/regulatory and compliance/etc.
I enjoy the work/balance and have gained other skills (programming/project management/policy development), but I want to figure out a rough plan of action that will put me in a better position for my salary goals.
Some thoughts I’ve had surround getting an MBA, trying to specialize in an industry like real estate/structured finance/private credit, or just doing what I’m doing now at a BB, but I’m really not sure what’s most optimal.
Any advice is appreciated. TIA.

Plenty of opportunities to make ~$300K at VP level roles on the execution/credit underwriting side of corporate banking at large balance sheet banks (so BB’s as you noted and larger Euro/Japanese banks). Judging by your background you could come in as an Aso 1 and generally takes 3 years to make the climb to VP.
