Middlebury.

If you're not white, I also don't recommend W&L (and not just because of the name)

W&L is a hidden gem that often gets overlooked due to its name and history, unfortunately. Students from there place incredibly well and the alumni network is second to none.

You can absolutely place into NYC, don’t listen to anyone that says you can’t because it’s probably the #1 city young W&L graduates end up in. As far as LACs go it’s right up there with all of the NESCACs, but prestige-obsessed students will tell you otherwise. The culture of the school is a lot more akin to an SEC school than other LACs if that means anything to you.
