30% off Brooks Brothers on Wednesday

Got a call from Brooks Brothers about a sale on Wednesday of this week. 30% off for those of you with corporate discount or corporate credit cards through BB.

Just giving everyone a heads up.

For $300, you can get a slim fit Joseph Abboud, with pick stitching, made of fine Italian wool and manufactured in New Bedford, MA. For $355, during the right sale, you can get a Charles Tyrwhitt made on Jermyn St, London.

I am seeing Brooks Brothers' entry-level suit going for $600. Less a 30% discount, that puts them at $420. Is it really worth that? How long do they last?

or wait until their huge bi-annual sale (next one in June i believe) -- things are 40% off then another 20% IIRC so almost half

so it will be the same price as JAbboud and better quality

I don't wear suits to work as we are B Casual so I own a large number of their button downs

If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses - Henry Ford
