Acceptable for an intern to wear IWC?

I've just received a watch as a gift and its an IWC Portofino, it's relatively understated but I'm not sure if it would be acceptable for an intern to wear the watch in the office given its price.

Also, I should mention that I'm in London IBD.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Is it just me or do you really not care what watch/suits/oxfords people wear in the office? All I care about, is this guy good at his job and not going to fuck me up and waste my time? Not, wow that's an IWC, he's a prick?

"Miss_Astro" Just to tell you the level of mind games people play with their MD, few month before bonus decisions. My peers starts to 'plug' they can never afford to buy a house it's too expensive, wearing a shirt that's busted on the eblows (hardo blowout) etc if that even persuade even the slightest for their dark hearts to give you more bonus then it's worth it.

wtf do people actually do this
