Just got an email this morning that Allen Edmonds has reduced some of their shoes down to $197. After looking through them its pretty obvious why some of them are marked down, but there are a couple of good finds. Hurry up if you need a pair as I am sure quantities are limited.

You have any AE loafers or boat shoes? Looking for something comfortable/nice looking to wear with jeans or shorts on the weekend
The only thing I have from them close to a loafer are the Grayson's which wouldn't work for either jeans or shorts. For boat shoes I stick with Sperry's.

Ahh, I'm a AE addict. Just ordered the black McAllisters for $280 w/ tax. Good price for the quality.
Almost pulled the trigger on the black Jeffersons + merlot McAllisters too. It's too bad I already own Walnut McAllisters, black Park Avenue's, Madisons in black, walnut and burnished brown. Feeling like a women at the moment.
McAllisters are great tho because they're super casual and comfortable... I've worn them with sweatpants before. Maybe will pull trigger on the merlot ones.
It's an alright sale, but they only have grey park avenues for the price. I'm going to wait until the annual Nordstrom sale to pick up a pair
contact the ae store in freeport maine, ask for allison. they consistently have the shoes for less than retail (park avenues, graysons, etc. in black no weird suede or ugly colors), and they have sales on odd holidays and she'll be glad to tell you when. they also ship for free. I can attest to it, just bought some park avenues over the presidents' day sale for $200.
