Are hair washes a "thing" in finance?
I am not new to the workforce but I'm relatively new to working in finance. I work for a BB in one of their large office buildings. I recently noticed that some of my colleagues (both of them are SVPs) with gray hair ended up getting washes in order to go to black hair. Both of them did their hair and one of them also did their facial hair. I've worked in plenty of office environments and I don't think I've seen an industry where people consistently get washes like that. Is that a "thing" in finance? Something to do to remain competitive?
Good to see the heavy hitting, important questions still getting asked on here.
Sure, it's not my finest hour to ask this question. But let's be honest, appearance carries weight in finance. Caring about your hair and the age it conveys is just as important as the shoe & suit discussions on here, is it not?
My gf gets the drapes and carpet washed once per quarter so yeah.
Carpet, too?
...is it worth it?
I'm assuming the carpet too from the amount of time and money spent at the salon. like painting lines on the road for a landing strip
Oh, I see what you did there . . .
