Are pins okay to wear at work?

I'm an associate 2 at a large AM firm and was wondering what everyone thinks of wearing a pin to work. The pin I would be wearing is specific to my nationality with a deep history behind it. Is it inappropriate or seen as gaudy.

Yeah it's a lapel pin. My firm actually doesn't wear suits, it's mostly business causal. It does have a flag on it so that is what I was most worried about.

I wear my NFT pin and no one ever seems to care. Maybe because it’s BAYC.
