like a lapel pin? If it's small and classy and you are supposed to be suited up then I don't see why not.
Yeah it's a lapel pin. My firm actually doesn't wear suits, it's mostly business causal. It does have a flag on it so that is what I was most worried about.
IMO that's not appropriate
Lapel pins on anything but suits / sportcoats look weird IMO (even then I think they usually look out of place, I say this despite owning several that carry personal significance I'd otherwise enjoy wearing)

100p fine to wear a lapel pin with a suit, the flag isnt a problem, but do not wear it without a suit... you will look ridiculous and definitely gaudy.
Save the pin for occasions which require a suit, but find some other way to have heritage pride
