Backpack or Messenger Bag?

Incoming analyst at an EB and I’m debating if I should stick w the backpack like I did over the summer or move to something like a messenger bag. My group isn’t like super formal with dress (dress shirt + slacks, jacket on the chair, no tie, loafers are common) but some of the older guys are a bit fratty/old fashioned so I’m not trying to come off sus or anything lol.

Do you guys have any recs one way or another?
