Beard as an Entry-level Consultant

I'm starting work soon at a consulting firm. I have a small beard (hairs aren't too long) that sort of passes of scruff. I look really young with out it and I really want to keep it. Should I:

A) Keep it groomed and go into the job day 1 with it B) Clean shave for the first day and eventually have people at the office get accustomed to it
