Best Leather Briefcase

What leather briefcases is everyone using?

Looking at Maverick & Co, Coach, Carl Friedrik, Linjer and Leatherology which all seem to be sleek and stylish.

Heard Maverick and Leathrology quality are mid - leaning towards Linjer / Carl Frederik and Coach but curious to see what everyone thinks

How's the quality of Maverick? Scrolling reddit and people are saying it doesn't hold up well.

And if this the Manhattan Leather Briefcase model in Black? I'm thinking of getting one for everyday wear (laptop / notebook) - you think that's enough?

I think the quality is fine, the leather just feels a bit like plastic if that makes sense.
and yep I had the Manhattan Leather Briefcase in Black and Red. It does look nice but I was trying to fit headphones and chargers and my iPad and planner and notebooks in there and it was getting packed. The double-zipper one at least had a second compartment to organize chargers better so I wish I got that one.
I also keep getting ads for a company called Oak & Rove and it looks decent for $300.

I use a Thursday Commuter. If you're wearing a full suit it would likely be too casual, but for casual wear through up to a sport coat I find it works well. Leather and construction are great for the price point and I like how much stuff I can fit in it (not as much as my Tumi, but now that I don't travel that much for work I don't find myself choosing it as much anymore)

OP here - I ended up ordering the Maverick & Co Manhattan briefcase. Heard quality was bad so I hesitated but in person looks pretty decent (so far). Very spacious as well, hope it holds up in 1-2 years

Carl Friedrik is fantastic. Have used one daily for about a year and getting ready to order a second in a different color.
