Best Price to Quality Non-Iron White Dress Shirts?
Just building out my wardrobe for IB and trying to find some good white dress shirts? Any advice on where to go?
I've been thinking doing Uniqlo as I am a slim build. Hoping to spend less than $30/shirt if possible? Any places to buy in bulk for cheap?
Uniqlo are good ones, you barely need to iron them.
If you ever have to wear jacket & tie and want a shirt that actually fits, any brand that uses S/M/L sizing (like Uniqlo, J. Crew, Banana Republic, etc) will be a total crap shoot. You may get lucky and end up being the body double of the guy they had in mind the they did sizing, but it's much more likely that the neck/sleeves will be wrong, and you never make a good impression with ill-fitting clothes.
If you're in NY, go to the Charles Tyrwhitt store and dial in your fit with collar to the nearest 1/2" and sleeve to the nearest 1", in 4 different fits.
For all you Charles Tyrwhitt lovers, every time you want to buy the shirts just google one of their competitors "TM Lewin Dress Shirts" for example and one of the ads at the top will be for CT shirts at 3 for $99. I've never paid more than $33/shirt
