Casual Wear Recommendations?

Anyone have any recommendations for good places to look for high-quality non-work clothes? Any advice for nice-looking t-shirts, polos and weekend wear that looks professional? Looking to step up my non-work clothes game.

I tend to go with Uniqlo/ Muji for basics - from t-shirts to casual shirts to chinos. Just find something that fits you well and that has decent quality fabrics (natural e.g. cotton, linen is best).

Bruh, want to help me get my Christmas list together. What does it cost?

I really like Hackett and Gant. I buy some stuff from Paul Smith and increasingly frequent Lacoste. All relatively preppy (if that's your thing), but they have nice stuff that can pass as smart casual when you want it to.

Probably, everyone at least once faced with such a situation at the airport, when the weight of the luggage was more than acceptable and you had to pay extra or put some of the things in hand luggage or another bag. It happened to me more than once (And when there is a queue behind you... not good. Therefore, I thought about purchasing a luggage scale, but I wanted something compact and that I could take it with.

I'm a big fan of Uniqlo supima cotton basic tees. They might be on the pricier end if you're used to say, Hanes 3 packs, but they're the most comfortable tees I've owned and a staple whenever I travel anywhere.

For me, upgrading non-work clothes was mostly about switching to better basics. Clean, well-fitted T-shirts and polos go a long way—they look casual but still put together.

I’d start with solid crewnecks and a couple of polos in neutral colors. A good Crewneck T-shirt or Fine Jersey T-shirt already looks more “premium” if the fit and fabric are right.

I’ve personally had good luck with American Apparel for this—they keep things simple, but the quality and fit make even weekend outfits look sharper.

these brands are great for both work formal and casual wear

Cavour: Nordic brand with Italian inspiration, really good quality but a pain to ship (I had UPS and it was awful)

Boggi: Italian brand, on the minimalist side but good quality

Hackett: British smart casual, offer basically everything and decent sales
