Is this a troll? Wear appropriate clothing for the interview, it’s that simple. No one is going to be trying to figure out if a college student is “fit for finance”, considering you aren’t expected to have any money. Fit for finance means willing to work hard, smart enough to keep up, has the right attitude, etc. And appropriate clothing are things that match what the firm is asking for in terms of how formal (normally that is suit and tie for interview) that fits you well so you don’t look like a mess.
