Hey folks - in dire need of a good quality peacoat or jacket for the fall. I'm looking at the $400-700 range. Any good brands you suggest? Based in NYC, would be great if there was a store I can try on. I like Ted Baker but their sleeves run a bit long. Thanks all in advance, much love.

At that price point just buy something off the rack and tailor it. I bought a nice Bonobos coat a few years ago, i thought it was a little too long so i had it tailored for $25.
Ted Baker Zachary wool peacoat is a great option at the price point. It had been around for a while so you can get some good deals on it. Durable, stylish and sleek.
