^this. Black belt with black loafers / black oxfords for more "formal" look, brown loafers and matching leather belt (kudos if it's genuine alligator/croc) for more "casual" days.
This + lululemon ABC pants, Charles Thyrwhitt / Proper Cloth shirts and a nice watch and that's all you need to look like a typical finance bro! Sprinkle in a few vests, Barbor jackets and Peter Millar q-zips and you're ready for any spreadsheet thrown your way regardless of what the weather is like during your 6 minutes outside. Yes, it's a bit of a walking stereotype but it's easy, you don't have to think about it and you can focus on performance and not fashion!
I have 6 pairs of lululemon ABC pants but have been trying to steer away from performance fabric clothing. Lately I have been wearing Bonobos weekday warrior pants in navy blue and charcoal grey. In my opinion, wearing more traditional fabrics looks more professional and pairs better with leather shoes and belts.
Yes always. If you decide to, highly recommend slide belts (all I wear these days) which do not show the wear & tear you see accumulate on traditional belt holes.

my parents love using it on me
Yes
Depends on the pants/ outfit for which belt but I always use one
Occasionally she uses a belt to tie me up if handcuffs are unavailable
Who doesn’t use a belt?
Black, Dark brown, Light brown.
I think having matching belts and shoes brings an outfit together more so than just having pants with adjusters and no belt.

If your pants have loops, you should wear a belt.
