Female intern: What bag to wear?
I am starting a corporate internship and was wondering what bag interns typically wear? (ie the brand) I know there are lots of topics on this subject, but I can't seem to find one that gave me clear answers.
If I was a girl I would wear the one I find most comfortable and enhances my aura. Wearing something that you don't like can be perceptible by someone who is a good observer.

I'd say a larger bag is more useful. Nothing too flashy, but something quality and functional. I used a Michael Kors tote as an analyst last summer.. It's useful because I don't wear my heels to work (they'd have been a hindrance on the subway) so I can store my flats in my bag when I get there.

I was wondering about bags as well, but more so about brands. My mom just got me a black Chanel bag for my birthday and I'm in love with it. It's about the perfect size for work so I thought it would work well; however, I've heard mixed things from my friends. I feel like it will be okay, but I wanted to double check/be careful.
Which one is it? I think if its not too over the top it should be fine. I was planning on using a nicer brand as well.
back in university i fell in love with the simple elegance and practicality of Longchamp and Herve Chapelier totes. They're not expensive compared to designer bags and mine have held up well over the years, though I've bought newer ones in the last year or so. :)
