FSA Accounts : Glasses

Looking to purchase a set of frames for flex spending and have a few questions for you guys

If I will be leaving my employer soon, will the spending account transfer or should I use it all up? Secondly, I have a bit more than i can spend, although I know it may not be legal if found out, could I buy frames for someone else on my account? Can I use them on general sunglasses at an optometry store?

Thank You!

Legally no, you can't use them for general sunglasses. But you can use them for a second pair of "frames" that you'll hold onto.. and you might as well take the lenses that came with those "frames" if they're already installed..
