Glamour and style

Give me some hints for how to be more glamorous, how to be more confident, how to present an air of nonchalance, like everything I do is easy.

Hardworking finance people know how tough it is at the end of a long day. What do you do to appear like it all comes easy?

Brah, you referring to the rockstar-aura some bankers give off? The "I don't give a fuck, I'm better than you" mentality? You're either born with it or you're not. It appears you were not.

Good day.

FutureVC,

Good question. And let me tell you that I LOVE the ambitious user name. Aim for the stars, or the start-ups, as the case may be! Now about your inquiry on the science of cool: First, get yourself a nickname that is simultaneously intriguing and accessible, mysterious and light-hearted. "Bucky" or possibly "The Sentinel" might be a good ones to begin. Next, you want to develop some sort of affectation that will distinguish you from other junior bankers. A red pen behind the ear has been known to be a good "atmosphere builder." Once you've established your "business, bitch" persona, a suave patina of devil-may-care je-ne-sais-quoi is all you will need to complete the illusion of nonchalance. Too structured, you're thinking? Perhaps, but don't forget that the coolest cats are also some of the most cold-ass calculating bastards you'll ever meet. Think that shit happens by accident? Premeditated, partner. Footloose and fancy free equals the worst "f" of all, pal. Fired.
