Grooming / Style / Health Tips to look your absolute best?

So I've been working on this for the last few months but in 2025 I want to perfect this. I'm 24 years old, so I am young, and I am in decent shape. I want to continue to reshape my habits to look and feel as good as I can. Any other tips here you all use would be greatly appreciated.

- Skincare: Sunscreen daily, high quality moisturizing facewash daily + retinol most nights + exfoliation 1 time a week. Always use moisturizer.

- Grooming: Neat and fitting haircut, shampoo only 2-3 times per week to keep healthy hair oils

- Gym/Fitness: Progressive overload 4-5x a week, PPL split. Few high intensity cardio sessions per week.

- Hydration: 2-3 big bottles of water + many cups of green tea daily

- Vitamins: Take a pretty comprehensive vitamin stack every morning

- Diet: 70-85% of my weight in grams of protein per day. Try to eat some leafy greens + fruits daily.

- Sleep: 7+ hours a night, 8+ where I can

- Stress: Was very surprised how much this impacts how I look and feel. Wish I was better at managing this, but I'm learning ways to do so. Breathing, meditation, exercise.

- Style/Fashion: Separate convo that I am way too invested in, but wear high quality clothing and change style based on the occasion.

Also am generally trying to read more and watch more documentaries to expand my general knowledge and conversational abilities.

To elevate your grooming, style, and health game in 2025, here are some additional tips based on the most helpful WSO content:

Skincare:

  • Daily Routine: Incorporate a cleansing oil followed by a cream cleanser for a deep clean. Use toner to balance your skin and finish with a high-quality moisturizer. Add a serum if you're over 30 or targeting specific skin concerns.
  • Sun Protection: Use a moisturizer with SPF daily to prevent wrinkles and sun damage. Avoid SPF products with benzene, as it can be harmful.
  • Extras: Consider face masks 1-3 times a week for hydration or detox. Eye cream can help with puffiness or dark circles.

Grooming:

  • Hair: Stick to a neat, tailored haircut that suits your face shape. Avoid over-shampooing to maintain natural oils, and consider a leave-in conditioner or hair serum for added shine.
  • Teeth: Invest in whitening treatments or toothpaste for a brighter smile. Regular dental check-ups are key.
  • Beard/Shaving: If you have facial hair, keep it well-groomed. Use aftershave with minimal alcohol to avoid drying out your skin.

Gym/Fitness:

  • Consistency: Progressive overload is great, but also mix in functional training or yoga for flexibility and injury prevention.
  • Daily Movement: On rest days, aim for light activity like walking or bodyweight exercises to keep your body moving.
  • Cardio: High-intensity cardio is excellent, but also consider steady-state cardio for endurance and recovery.

Hydration:

  • Electrolytes: Add a pinch of Himalayan salt or electrolyte tablets to your water for better hydration, especially if you're sweating a lot during workouts.

Vitamins:

  • Tailored Stack: Beyond a multivitamin, consider fish oil for skin and brain health, vitamin D if you're not getting enough sunlight, and magnesium for better sleep and stress management.

Diet:

  • Clean Eating: Focus on whole, unprocessed foods. A Mediterranean diet is highly recommended for long-term health.
  • Meal Prep: Plan meals ahead to ensure you're hitting your protein and micronutrient goals.
  • Alcohol: Minimize heavy drinking and stick to social occasions.

Sleep:

  • Optimize Environment: Use blackout curtains, avoid screens 1.5 hours before bed, and keep your room cool and quiet.
  • Wind-Down Routine: Incorporate breathwork or light stretching before bed to relax your body and mind.

Stress Management:

  • Mindfulness: Meditation and gratitude practices can significantly reduce stress and improve overall well-being.
  • Social Connections: Spend time with people who uplift you and engage in activities that bring you joy.

Style/Fashion:

  • Tailored Fit: A well-fitted suit or outfit always looks better than something expensive but ill-fitting.
  • Versatility: Build a wardrobe with versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
  • Details Matter: Invest in quality shoes, belts, and accessories to elevate your look.

Additional Tips:

  • Reading & Learning: Expanding your knowledge is a great way to boost confidence and conversational skills. Consider topics outside of finance to diversify your interests.
  • Hobbies: Engage in activities that make you happy and reduce stress, whether it's playing an instrument, cooking, or sports.

By refining these habits and staying consistent, you'll not only look your best but also feel your best in 2025 and beyond!
