Hello Gold Rolex Day Date for men. Should I go for 36mm or 40mm?
Hello all, I am set to buy a full gold Rolex day date and I am uncertain of whether it should be 36mm or 40mm. Through history 36mm has been the norm but recently men’s watches have become larger and larger and hence Rolex launches a 40mm version which has now become mainstream. If it was a white gold version I would probably go for a 40mm but since it is a full yellow gold version then I am unsure as I worry a 40mm yellow gold would look too tacky. What do you guys think?
I think I’d go with the 36 in gold. I like larger sports watches but I think 36 is nice for a formal watch.
Here is how my current datejust wears on my wrist. Based on that, do you think I should for a day date 36 or 40?
36mm hands down
How big is your wrist? 36 would be my suggestion

Attaching photo of my wrist for further context
Mind attaching another photo? Can't see the rolex quite clearly on the previous 3 photos you posted
Ahahaha fair point, but still what do you think?
