How to Dress for Virtual Internship

Hi! I have no idea what is acceptable to wear anymore now that I won't be working in person, and I know in the grand scheme of things my outfit is not the most important thing in the world, but here I am just a scared incoming female summer analyst intern at BB asking what people, females in IB, in particular, are wearing to work now.

What have you seen that has worked well? What is wildly inappropriate and what is expected? Are people still wearing blazers?

Any feedback would be much appreciated, thanks!

Be gone dayman.

Regarding your question, I feel like if you know you have a video thing coming up, put on nicer clothes. At the beginning, I would dress nicer, but I totally expect people to downgrade as the internship carries on. When not on video, wear whatever you want. Thats what I do. The ladies at my firm wear either blazers or formal minimally designed dresses.

Dayman?

This is awesome hahahaha. Just imagining someone saying, "I'm sorry, but I'm not wearing any pants."

"Markets can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent."

I wouldn't stress over it. If you're going to be on zoom calls, then a blazer or a nice top. If not, wear what you're comfortable in. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.
