You could just shoot someone an email or text and straight up ask what the usual dress code is (I did this)

Or just wait for your first day. Probably safe to take a suit and ditch the tie and jacket.

Or ask WSO if at a decent size bank

It doesn't hurt to show up a little overdressed on the first day; in this industry the norm is very much formal businesswear, and showing up on day one looking sharp and as if you're taking it seriously probably isn't going to hurt, and gradually adjust to the office code as the team becomes more used to your presence about the office. If this is a smaller shop and you feel comfortable asking, go for that too as another poster suggested.
