How to make bald look classy!? lol
Hey everybody, I'm 23 years old, a recent college graduate, and I've got a hairline from hell. I've got a gorgeous girlfriend that prefers it shaved, and I think it looks much better than the alternative as well. But, I am from the midwest. I am from a working class family. And I was a college football player (so, I'm pretty big).
I graduated from a very prestigious, very liberal school...but still...I can't help but feel like people in interviews are looking at me and thinking that I'm some kind of racist hillbilly, lol. So, basically, I'm looking for some suggestions on how to class up the shaved head look, lol.
I can't really grow a respectable mustache yet, so that's out of the question. I don't need glasses, but I've thought about getting some to look a little more, eh, academic? A nice suite always helps as well I'm sure.
Looking for some success stories here brothers and sisters.

In all Honesty rock a set of Paulson like glasses, that might help.

Plenty of high profile guys make the look work, Paulson, Blankfein, Steve Cohen, etc. As long as you have a fresh suit and are well-spoken I dont think its an issue at all. Be confident/friendly and it shouldnt matter. Plus WS loves athletes. Good luck.
I was going to suggest glasses too (if you need them, and maybe even if you don't haha). Modern glasses on a shaved head cancel out the "skinhead" look. Some black Zegna glasses would work well.
Also, shaving down with a #1 blade, rather than all the way down to the skin, can help.

Just get a number 1 or number 2 all around. IMO, that's the only way young people can rock the bald look. Glasses are another great idea.

dude I'm from the Midwest too and had the whole receding hairline thing too until I shaved my head. It looks fucking awesome. Am I some racist hick that only eats corn and has sex with farm animals? Maybe. Probably. Not everybody can pull off bald, I guess I am fortunate enough to be able to.
Also you don't need a $15 razor to shave your head. A $2 Bic from Walgreens will do. And you can also use it to shave the back side of your nut sack.

Just buzz it to a #1 or 2 as mentioned above and get some sun. Bald looks like shit when you are pale white.

my biggest problem in a business setting, i think, is that i sort of look like a guy that will be waiting for you in the alley if you piss me off, lol. i'm about 5-9, 220lbs, and i'm not fat, lol. once new people get to know me they're always suprised by how nice i am. it's just those first impressions that are based on nothing other than appearance that get me.
i like the glasses idea. i think it'd definitely make me look more academic, and less scary, lol. and i'll try the 1 blade instead of the skin. it shows off that nasty hairline, but, really, i don't care that much. i've got a great girlfriend, so i'm not really in that market anyways.
I can tell you're cool from your frequent mention of your "gorgeous" girlfriend and assertions that you're not fat.
